"You were what?!" Rachel's mind short-circuited for a moment. So... he gave her flowers, but then wanted to take them back. Was that a thing now? Granted, the last guy she was with wasn't even human and so romantic gestures of any kind were, um, different, but this was confusing as hell.
"You broke in to steal back flowers that you gave me... after I went to sleep? Or am I forgetting something for dinner? Or..." Crossing her arms over her chest, she wondered if she was supposed to be offended. Probably. Maybe? "Explain, McCollin. I'm still not sober enough to follow your logic here."
